There must have been pages and pages of questions sprouting from Jonah, i.e. The other star was taken off for Haddix's endless bombardment of questions in the book. His reading style is even more strange in that he pauses for about 2 seconds between each and every sentence.
That sing-song puppet show voice he uses to represent Jonah and the other kids is condescending and annoying. Either that or he thinks the listener is a three year old. He obviously thinks they are the same as three year olds. Chris Sorenson must not think much of preteen kids. However, the reason I knocked off two stars: First, the narrator.
Margaret Peterson Haddix is no stranger to unique "what if" scenarios (i.e. It's a very interesting concept, to have been kidnapped from history, raised in the future, and then brought back to an unfamiliar point in history. Good series - narration needs improvement
