She has all the makings of an intelligent strong female without being an annoying girl boss karen, she has the right attitude towards his behavior, she says the right comebacks.
Well what do ya know?! And i am thoroughly disappointed in HER. Finally, at the end of chapter three I told myself if she gets in that jeep with him i'm NOT going to finish this book. and his character just kept getting worse with each paragraph. i could almost forgive the misunderstanding with their first meeting except. What I do not understand is how they are so often confused with overbearing, insecure, RUDE jerks. i totally understand the allure of assertive alpha male trope.
I know everyone has their personal "thing" that turns them on in a romance novel.
